Intumescent painting has different thickness of intumescent coating will give varying thicknesses of ‘char’, and therefore differing time periods of fire resistance. The amount of applied intumescent paint required to give the specified period (usually 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes) is usually referred to as the ‘loading’ needed. For example, to protect a certain size steel section for 30 minutes might require a loading of 350 microns dry film thickness (dft) of intumescent. CSL COATINGS, calculate the loadings and the required thicknesses of intumescent painting required, per individual steel section, for the timings required.

We are able to offer intumescent painting services on industrial buildings, showrooms, warehouses, manufacturing facilities and factories / plants. We also have experience in floor painting and line-marking to new and existing floors.

Advantages of the system:

  • It can be applied to all types of cables
  • Aesthetic look of the fireproofed cables
  • Elasticity of the substance after drying
  • Non-toxicity
  • Easy application, fast pace, durable effective
  • All our workers are IPAF and MEWP trained
